The terms that apply when using the Sacred Stag directory.
About Sacred Stag
Sacred Stag is a curated directory for traditional archery. The platform helps visitors discover bow makers, craftsmen, clubs, events and related organizations and connect with them through their own websites and contact channels.
Sacred Stag is not a marketplace, seller, manufacturer, agent or party to transactions between visitors and listed persons or organizations.
Directory listings
Listings may be created from information supplied directly to Sacred Stag, through an application, or from reliable publicly accessible sources where there is an appropriate basis for doing so. Sacred Stag may review, edit, update, decline, unpublish or remove a listing in order to maintain the quality, relevance, accuracy and integrity of the directory.
A person or organization associated with a listing may contact us to request a review, correction or removal of information. Requests can be sent to contact@sacredstagarchery.com.
Verified profiles
A Verified label means that Sacred Stag has taken reasonable steps to confirm key information associated with the profile, for example through direct contact, review of reliable information or confirmation by the person or organization concerned.
Verification is not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of the quality, safety, legality, financial reliability or suitability of any product, service, person or organization. Visitors remain responsible for making their own decisions before entering into a purchase, booking or other arrangement.
Premium presentation
Some profiles may receive additional presentation features identified as Premium. Premium status does not purchase verification, editorial endorsement or a disguised recommendation, and does not change the standards applied to directory information.
Sacred Stag does not currently offer an automated paid Premium purchase or subscription through the website. If paid services are introduced, the applicable commercial and payment terms will be provided before those services are offered.
No ratings or public reviews
Sacred Stag does not operate a public rating, comment or review system for directory profiles. The absence of ratings or comments should not be interpreted as an assessment or guarantee by Sacred Stag.
Transactions and external services
Any purchase, commission, booking, membership, event participation, delivery, warranty, refund or other arrangement made with a listed person or organization is solely between the parties involved. Sacred Stag does not control those transactions and is not responsible for their performance.
Links to external websites, shops and social media services are provided for convenience. Sacred Stag does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, products, policies or practices.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep Sacred Stag useful and accurate, but directory information can change and errors may occur. We do not guarantee that every listing, date, link, description or other item of information will always be complete, current or error-free.
The website may occasionally be unavailable or changed for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
Intellectual property
The Sacred Stag name, branding, website design, original text and other original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights in third-party names, trademarks, photographs, logos, products and other materials remain with their respective owners.
Content supplied to Sacred Stag for publication should only be supplied where the contributor has the right to provide and permit its use for the directory. If you believe material published on Sacred Stag infringes your rights, contact us at contact@sacredstagarchery.com.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit deliberately false or unlawful information, impersonate another person or organization, or use the service in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee publication, verification or acceptance into the directory. Sacred Stag may request additional information and may approve or decline an application in order to maintain the scope and standards of the directory.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Stag is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on third-party directory information, external services or transactions between visitors and listed persons or organizations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Sacred Stag Privacy notice. The Privacy page explains what information may be processed, why it is used, service providers involved and the rights available to individuals.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Sacred Stag develops or introduces new services. Material changes affecting paid services or other significant user rights will be reflected in the applicable terms before those services are offered.
