Who is responsible for your data

Sacred Stag operates the sacredstagarchery.com website and acts as the controller of personal data processed through the platform. Privacy-related questions and requests can be sent to contact@sacredstagarchery.com.

Information we collect

When you contact Sacred Stag or submit a directory application, we may collect information such as your name, email address, country, city, business or organization name, website and social media links, information about your work, and any other information you choose to provide in the application.

We may also process information used in directory listings. Some listing information may be supplied directly by the person or organization concerned, while other basic listing information may come from reliable publicly accessible sources.

Why we use this information

We process information to receive and review applications, verify and maintain directory information, communicate with applicants and listed professionals, operate and secure the platform, respond to requests, and publish appropriate directory information.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating an accurate and trustworthy traditional archery directory, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically requested.

Public directory information

Sacred Stag is a public directory. Information selected for a published listing may therefore be visible to anyone on the internet and may be indexed by search engines. We aim to publish only information relevant to the directory and do not intentionally publish private contact information unless it is intended to form part of the public listing.

If a listing has been created using publicly accessible information, the person or organization concerned may contact us to request correction, review or removal of personal information associated with that listing.

Email communications

Application-related emails, including confirmations and application status messages, may be sent through our email delivery provider. These messages are transactional and relate directly to an application or communication with Sacred Stag. We do not currently operate a marketing email newsletter.

Service providers and data storage

Sacred Stag uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the website, store platform data and media, protect the service, and deliver transactional email. These providers may process limited personal data on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.

Our current infrastructure includes Cloudflare services for website hosting, database and media storage, and Resend for transactional email delivery. Data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence where these providers operate, subject to the safeguards applicable to their services.

How long we keep information

Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain accurate directory records, resolve requests or disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Applications and related correspondence may be reviewed or deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal data concerning you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Requests can be sent to contact@sacredstagarchery.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies and analytics

Sacred Stag does not currently use advertising cookies or a finalized analytics system. Essential technical processing may occur as part of operating and securing the website. If we introduce analytics, advertising technologies or other non-essential cookies, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated before those technologies are used.

External websites

Sacred Stag contains links to independent websites, shops and social media services. Those services operate under their own privacy practices, and Sacred Stag is not responsible for their content or handling of personal information.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but access to administrative functions and stored information is restricted to what is necessary to operate Sacred Stag.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when Sacred Stag introduces new services or changes how personal data is processed. The current version published on this page will apply from the date it is posted.
