About

About Ferencz Zsolt

Ferencz began making bags in 1992 and describes himself as a self-taught leather craftsman. His work is built around durable, made-to-order pieces rather than mass production, with size, layout, colour and decoration adapted to the customer. A distinctive part of the workshop is its use of older forms in practical modern objects: Hungarian Conquest-period tarsoly pouches, shepherd-style bags, Roman sandals, and Hungarian folk and Conquest-period motifs all appear in his own presentation. The webshop also includes a dedicated archery-accessories section alongside his broader made-to-order leatherwork.
