Registration Closing Soon for the 2026 Korea Ulsan World Traditional Archery Championship

Registration for the 2026 Korea Ulsan World Traditional Archery Championship remains open until 30 September, giving national federations and team representatives nine more days to enter archers for the international tournament.

Held from 30 October to 4 November at the Ulsan Munsu International Archery Field in South Korea, the championship will test archers across four very different traditional target formats.

Every competitor will shoot the mandatory Korean Kungdo discipline at 145 metres. The programme also includes a Hungarian Tarsca shield-shaped ground target at 90 metres, Turkish Puta at 70 metres and Kazakh Zhamby at 30 metres.

Qualification takes place over three days. The tournament then moves into head-to-head stages, with the Round of 16 through semifinals scheduled for 3 November and the medal matches and finals on 4 November.

Competition is organised in Men's Individual, Women's Individual and mixed-gender five-person Team divisions. An overall percentile ranking will also compare performance across all four target disciplines.

The entry fee is €100 per athlete and includes both individual and team participation.

The Ulsan championship also follows directly from the 145-metre Korean traditional archery event held during September's World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. Leading finishers there received participation-support packages for Ulsan, creating a direct link between two of this year's major international traditional archery gatherings.

Registration closes on 30 September 2026. Full event and registration details are available through the Sacred Stag Events page.
